I have just started reading Lord of the Clans again and I have found this book amazing countless times and I always still read it just so I can get more information on the story. It is about a enslaved orc named Thrall who's parents were killed right in his face while he was just born by Blackmoore, his slave owner. Throughout the book he fights in a ring to the death and runs away learning how to be a shaman in the frostwolf clan.

I can't really connect to Thrall but I think our world is the same as theirs in a way. People are neglected every day in both worlds, and there are only a handful of people who do anything about it. Animals and humans both, abuse is spread around the world like a disease. Racism is a large part in this and so is animal cruelty. In this book it is all put in one, because in the fight ring they would put a slave and an animal or another slave to fight to the death for the residents in durneholde's amusement.

Whenever I read this book I always think back to cruelty of humans and animals because I know this will never stop, there will always be people who love to hurt innoicent people and animals for fun or just pure hatred. But I know I don't, and I never will.

Pianist

I just finished reading the book Pianist by (Forgot name :S) and it is about a polish man in world war 2 who was a very prestigious pianist trying to find his way through the war.

I can relate to this book because I and everyone else is trying to go through something and find the outcome. I think it's because without that light at the end of the road we couldn't really make life as pleasurable and this book secretly shows this in my mind. I also like how the writer showed how the main character was feeling and how this war was so bad and threatening. It showed we need to help the people in need and as well help our selves with things like war, global warming and all the dangers a human has to face in every day life because this could happen to you and you can turn amazing from this experiance

Social Actions

I just read the book Sold by Patricia Mcchormik (I think) and it was about a Nepali girl, Lakshmi being sex trafficked throughout the book while other sexual slaves try to help her get used to this lifestyle she is forced to do.

This book relates to social action because slavery still exists today and people need to help stop it like the other sexual trafficked girls did to Lakshmi and also that people are still poor and need to choose this lifestyle because they can't choose anything else. It shows how you and I are lucky and can afford things like our computers, pencils and homes. But it also shows that people in the world can't even afford one pencil.

I think Patricia (forgot last name) was trying to tell the reader that we need to try to help these girls from being tortured and put into this horrible lifestyle and also that we have so much compared to them and we should try sharing with the people who have nothing so that they can be saved from a life of torture.

9/11 can connect to every book.

I have recently been reading, listening and watching things on 9/11 for my writing project and i noticed some strange things. The information i have been getting is all the same stuff like "Oh, the goverment set it up!", "The goverment made this reason for our war!" which is both true. It's making me think about how I can't even trust my own goverment anymore.

This makes me see how it relates to almost every book I have read. How there's the innocent person who is attacked by evil. Innocent person/Hero is like every citizen in the U.S.A and I can't believe I'm saying this but the people against us in the war, we are just stealing things that belong to their land and using it against them. And the evil is our very own goverment, like Barack Obama and George Bush.. Our own president is against what most people believe in. Its all a conspiracy, I don't know if this is true or just rumors but I believe it can be. Just like in our books we can think something then it completely goes a different way.

Lord of the Clans

Lord of the Clans is a book by Christie Golden and it is about an orc who is enslaved and forced to be a warrior under human control. He is captured when he is just born and his father and mother were killed by blackmoore (his slave owner) because the humans are part of the alliance witch are against the horde that includes the orcs, trolls and a few more monsterlike creatures. Throughout the book Thrall, the enslaved orc warrior/shaman, has to try to escape durnholde, his slave trench, with the help of Tabetha, a human who decides to help Thrall. He fights many monsters, gets help from the frostwolf people of Alterac Valley to become a master shaman and overthrow Blackmoore. I am not going to give away the ending but i suggest this book to everyone because of its action, romance and tradgedy.
